Raise your head, raise your head!

Listening to the story in your heart, what’s that about?
The explanation for grief, what’s that?
If my love left me, it was his right
Why tear your shirt in his absence?
The street is endless, don’t hurry
Running to the infinite, what’s that about?
I will relate with everything
Cutting ties with the world and time, what’s that about?
Even if he isn’t a friend, I am
Leaving friendship, what’s that about?
Certainly, in need of the hunter
He was chasing my prey; what’s running wild?
It is possible to sing in a cage
Thinking about flying, what’s that about?
Come straight from the door and say hello
Looking from behind the curtain, what’s that about?
Everything is his cup; it is fit to drink
Raise your head, raise your head! What’s there to bear?
Finally we will reach the palm tree
What is this bitter talk about not reaching?
