Biographies of Herati woman poets

Born in 1957 in Herat, Sultani got her bachelors degree in maths and physics from the Teacher Training Faculty and then began working as a teacher.

In 1987, she went to Iran and continued her teaching there. She established a magazine there called Rahrawn-e Sumia (The Followers of Sumia).  Currently she works in Islamic Movement of Afghan Women and is also the Editor-in-chief of the movement’s publication, Al-Mu’minnaat (The Believers). She lives in Mashhad, Iran.
