Biographies of Herati woman poets
Born in Herat, Amjad Rezayi finished her schooling in 1963 and then began to work as the headmistress in Mehri secondary school of Herat. She did her masters in Psychology but was forced to flee on account of the social and political instabilities in Afghanistan. Currently, she lives in Canada. She has been chairwoman of the Afghan Women’s Union in Ottawa for two years. Her writings have been published in many magazines. |
